“Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do” – John Wooden. As a lifelong educator, Lynette Bowman has inspired students to achieve more than they thought possible, not just in the classroom but inspiring greater char- acter and leadership in their lives outside of the classroom. She further employed Wooden’s wisdom to inspire her teach- ers as a school administrator. Results oriented and visionary, her organizational ability and keen communication skills allowed her to present to other admin- istrators, parents, and students winsomely to change policy, course offerings, and looping to meet the changing requirements of educational demands for the students and families. She provided support, mentoring, and instructional encouragement to faculty as a teacher advo- cate in administration.
Looking to expand the scope of both traditional and classical education, Lynette has set her sights on creating a sports academy school to launch in the fall of 2017. DME Sports Academy selects the finest combination of athletes and academics. Forbes magazine recognizes the inherent value and worth of former athletes’ ability to focus, drive, and excel into leadership in the business world. She aims to serve as a catalyst to develop tomorrow’s leaders through a Sports Academy Education.
