DME Sports Academy Volleyball is turning to former Olympic coach, Luis Enrique Briceño Herrera, to take DME Volleyball program through the roof for next season!

With DME Volleyball already showered with achievements, as all seniors receiving scholarships last AAU season, and 13 Elite attending the USAV GJNC Nationals in Detroit MI, Coach Luis is coming right on time to take the program to another elite level.

Coach Luis brings his 35-year coaching career to DME as the new 18 Elite coach and personal coaching and training for the volleyball program. “I take pride in developing talent and for the past two years, over 95% of the athletes under my coaching have attained USA Division I Universities’ full-ride scholarships, ” Louis expressed!

Coach Luis coached for the Peru Olympic Volleyball Team from 1985-1988. He was also a Professor at the Volleyball School of Trainers of the Peru Federation and of the Volleyball University of Coaches. With his experience and knowledge, he is confident in bringing more full-ride college scholarships to DME!

In the last two years, he has trained 18 Elite Conference Volleyball players and has coached volleyball teams that qualified for post-season play each year and has finished no less than fourth in the conferences, including Regional and National Championships!

DME is very excited to bring Coach Luis on board with his competitive passion and pursuit of perfection in fundamentals and technique.
